Fast Bike Industries is based in western North Carolina in the Appalachian mountains. Although the company took shape in 2009, it's been developed through many years of hard work, plenty of experience, and great guidance from several great leaders. David Behrend, owner of Fast Bike Industries, started out as a kid on the back of his dad’s motorcycle, and from there, motorcycles have been a passion. When David was old enough to get his M/C license he bought his first bike, first riding on the street...that is until he discovered the racetrack!

The last 20+ professional years have brought David around the world, and through many different experiences. David has worked with: Honda Superbike Canada, Factory Yamaha Canada, Factory Suzuki Canada, Erion Racing Honda, American Honda, American Suzuki, Factory Kawasaki USA, and with such riders as: Jake Zemke, Josh Hayes, Miguel Duhamel, Anthony Gobert, Alex Gobert, Roger Hayden, Tommy Hayden, Kurtis Roberts, Eric Bostrom – just to name a few! David completed four years at Öhlins USA managing technical support, and R&D, as well as Roadracing, and most recently Off-road development. “I have plenty of people to thank for there guidance and support, and hope I can offer the same level of advice that was offered to me.” – David Behrend
